A Stroll For The Senses

Starting in Hanoi, walk to the banks of Hoan Kiem Lake, a tree-lined refuge where locals practise laughing yoga. Guided cyclos will take you to temples, fortresses and the bustling Old Quarter of Hanoi. End your first fantastic day with a local dinner of Vietnamese specialties.

Experience Vietnam's rich coffee culture before a serene hike to Long Bien Bridge. Soak in the beauty of the green riverbanks while observing farmers going about their daily lives. Then head to Hanoi for a cooking class alongside an expert chef and some free time to explore the city's museums.

Leaving the crowds behind, step through the tranquil countryside and reach lush rice fields and limestone cliffs. Explore sleepy villages before arriving at the fortresses of an ancient capital, where you'll delve into the history of local life. 

Set off on your chosen trail surrounded by majestic limestone mountains. For a change of pace this afternoon, climb aboard a rowboat and float into caves below the monoliths. Enjoy dinner at a nearby restaurant with the local farmers after their day's work, sampling Vietnam's most delicious rice wine. 

Traverse through the biodiverse wilderness of Northern Vietnam, with plenty of serendipitous sightings of animal friends and unusual plants along the way. A valley of sweeping rice terraces and a crystal stream greets you after emerging from the jungle.

Enchanting Cambodia & Dynamic Vietnam

Venture off the beaten path and fall in love with Cambodia and Vietnam

Our Cambodian adventure begins at the temples of Bayon. Explore the park by bike amid a jungle of silk, cotton and fig trees. After lunch at one of our favourite restaurants, we'll spend the afternoon exploring the magnificent Angkor Wat. This evening, we'll dine at one of the best restaurants in town.

This morning, we'll hop in our tuk-tuks and head to the jungle temple of Ta Prohm. Then we're off on our bikes for a rustic ride to the Roluos Group of Temples. This evening, we’ll head to a special location for an intimate dinner.

In Angkor Thom, choose between a walk along the ancient walls to Preah Khan or a bike ride to the west of the Angkor Complex. After lunch, we’re off to the airport to catch a flight to Vietnam. The evening is yours to explore Hoi An’s many shops and restaurants.

Bike through the countryside of Hoi An, passing through gardening and fishing villages. After lunch at our favourite Banh Mi shop, we’ll embark on a leisurely walk through the ancient town. Our local friend and restaurateur Duc hosts us at his home for dinner tonight.

This morning’s ride takes us on less-travelled roads south of Hoi An, where we’ll learn about the area’s thriving agriculture. The ride ends with a river crossing by boat to the shores of our cooking class. Here, we'll learn local specialties from experts and then indulge in our creations.

Travel by car beneath the spectacular Hai Van Pass—one of the most beautiful coastal roads in the world. Those who prefer to pedal over the mountain pass, challenge accepted. Ride a scenic trail along rice paddies and lagoons then enjoy lunch at a waterfront resort. Tonight, we'll dine in the old city of Hue.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Take a loop ride through the rice paddies, eventually reaching the historic Thien Mu Pagoda. Enjoy lunch aboard a private boat up the Perfume River, then visit the magnificent tomb of Emperor Minh Mang. Tonight, our old friends—relatives of the Nguyen Dynasty—will host a fabulous final dinner.

After a final peek at the sleepy countryside, we'll drive you 20 minutes to Hue Airport or 2.5 hours to Danang Airport for your departing flight.

We embark on a scenic ride through lush country roads and vibrant villages, followed by an exploration of the historic ‘Forbidden City.’&nbsp;Tonight, enjoy a home-cooked feast at Mr. Vinh’s, where the evening is filled with tales of history, feng shui, and the melodies of nature.

Today's journey along the Perfume River includes biking through rice paddies, exploring local crafts, and visiting the historic Thien Mu Pagoda. Enjoy a serene river cruise to Emperor Minh Mang’s mausoleum, with an optional stop at Khai Dinh’s tomb. End the day with a relaxing spa session and a dinner featuring Hue’s signature dishes.&nbsp;

This morning, we’ll bike through a scenic coastal village, with stops at temples to explore Vietnamese ancestor worship. After lunch, tackle the challenging Hai Van Pass, one of the most beautiful coastal roads in the world. Tonight, savour an inspiring dinner with Chef Duc, who shares his remarkable journey and love for Vietnamese cuisine.

This morning, bike through charming villages to Thanh Ha, a historic pottery village preserving traditional craftsmanship. Continue through fishing and gardening villages, ending at a scenic cooking school for a hands-on class and lunch. In the afternoon, explore Hoi An’s merchant houses or opt for a bike ride back to the hotel, with dinner at a favourite local restaurant to cap off the day.

We start early today for a long drive, breaking for lunch at a coastal seafood spot with fresh ocean breezes signaling our entry into a new region. After lunch, enjoy a serene bike ride through traditional villages and along the picturesque coastline. Tonight, we’ll dine at the elegant Rong House, embracing the adventurous spirit of this secluded bay.

This morning, cycle along sunny trails, fishing ports, and fruit groves to Bai Xep, finishing with an exhilarating coastal ride. After lunch at a secluded beach, either tackle the ride back or take a van to the hotel, where you can kayak or relax by the coast. End the day with a spa visit or drinks at the bar, followed by a dinner of your choice.

This morning, bid farewell to Bai San Ho and embark on a ride across Vietnam's longest wooden bridge, stopping at the historic Mang Lang Catholic church. Enjoy ocean views, natural landmarks, and a floating restaurant before finishing the ride with modern sculptures in Tuy Hoa City. After lunch, a drive and boat ride bring us to the hotel, where we'll gather for dinner in paradise.

Enjoy a full day of relaxation at the hideaway, exploring the spa, water sports, or simply soaking up paradise by the pool or ocean. Or, start the day with a guided trek to spot the endangered, black-shanked douc monkeys or bike ride to the ancient Ponagar towers in Nha Trang.

This morning, we boat back to the mainland and fly to Ho Chi Minh City, where our guides and Vespa scooter drivers will take us on an exploration of the city's hidden gems. Discover the blend of sleek skyscrapers, ornate temples, and Chinese pagodas that define this vibrant city. In the evening, enjoy a delicious local meal at one of our favourite restaurants.

Depart Saigon for the Mekong River Delta, where we’ll bike along tranquil canals and past dragon fruit orchards, stopping for a meal on a private riverboat. After docking, we’ll head to our island hotel in Can Tho, where we’ll explore the city’s historic heart before dining at a French-Vietnamese restaurant overlooking the river.

Start the day with a boat ride to the Cai Rang floating markets, where local fishermen and farmers trade their goods. After exploring by bike through flower-filled villages, enjoy a fresh lunch on a boat while cruising back to the hotel. In the afternoon, relax by the pool or take an optional bike ride before celebrating the final evening with a rooftop dinner at our favourite restaurant

After a final glance at the peaceful landscape, we'll drive you to Ho Chi Minh City or Can Tho Airport for your onward travels.&nbsp;

Our first ride begins from the gate of a gorgeous Renaissance castle. Pedal through rolling valleys and pass medieval churches until we reach Juno Beach. Visit the on-site museum, then we’re off to our friend’s manor home for a picnic lunch. Later, we'll enjoy cocktails with a D-Day expert before we sit down for our first dinner at one of Bayeux’s traditional bistronomic restaurants.&nbsp;

Ride to Pointe du Hoc to gain a firsthand perspective on the events of the morning of D-Day. Further along the coast, we’ll enjoy the best seafood in town for lunch then end our tour at the American Cemetery. This evening, we’ll sit down at one of our favourite gastronomic restaurants.

Begin pedalling to the bunkers at Longues-sur-Mer, the only guns still in place, then roll on to the Arromanches Museum.&nbsp;Join our baronial host in his château for a country lunch. After a long or short gorgeous ride back, the&nbsp;rest of the evening is yours&nbsp;to explore Bayeux on your own.

Starting near the bay in Avranches, our ride follows quiet paths and roads to the fairytale Mont Saint-Michel. Pause for a delicious farm-fresh lunch before continuing to Mont, where we’ll be joined by a local expert for a behind-the-scenes visit of this fascinating piece of medieval history. Wander through Dinard’s lively dining scene tonight.

Take a private ferry to St. Malo for a guided visit to the walled town, then hop on our bikes and ride to Cancale, a picturesque oyster-farming village. Enjoy a seaside lunch before riding either directly to, or via stunning Saint-Souillac to Saint-Malo to catch the “Seabus.” For our final night celebration, we’ll savour cocktails and a 2-star Michelin dinner in the hotel’s seaside dining room.

Reaching the top of Mont Saint-Michel requires climbing many steps. While there are plenty of safe spaces to pause and rest along the way, we recommend familiarity with walking in these conditions.

Start the day with a ride from Bohemia into the Moravian highlands. Enjoy the scenery along the Sazava River before a feast at the home of Czech's most translated writer. Tonight, enjoy a farm-to-table dinner at the hotel. 

Explore rural Czech life with an adventurous ride through the Vysocina highlands and visit a glass-blowing workshop, learning about Bohemia's finest traditional craft. Spend the afternoon cycling or enjoying the L’Occitane Spa. This evening over cocktails, we’ll be joined by a B&R friend for a vivid introduction to Czech history.

Embark on a scenic drive into Austria for a mind-blowing falconry show. Then roll through the sun-dappled forests of Waldviertel and discover the ancient riverside towns of the Kamptal wine region.

Choose the route that feels best for you today, and cycle to Tihany before arriving at the lakeside peninsula. Roam the alleys of the abbey founded in 1055 surrounded by lavender and history.
