Itinerary

Nólsoyarstova

Location: Torshavn, Faroe Islands

I was struck by the stark beauty of the Faroe Islands. It’s inspiring to see.

I was really struck by the stark nature of the Faroe Islands, similar to what we find in Iceland in some places—barren, treeless, dramatic instances of land rising out of the ocean, many sheep. It is really a beautiful thing to me. I find it so inspiring to see these almost barren landscapes and to learn how people live off the land like that.
