Cancel for any reason (CFAR)

The plan provides coverage for your Butterfield & Robinson trip only. However, airfare, pre- and post-trip travel arrangements not booked by Butterfield & Robinson can be added on to the policy. 

Pre-existing Medical Condition Exclusions would likely be applicable to a condition of a traveller, travelling companion or family member who was first diagnosed, had a change in diagnosis or required a change in medication during the 90 day look back period immediately preceding and including the effective date of coverage. To include a Pre-existing Medical Condition Exclusion Waiver, you must purchase your plan within 15 days of your final trip payment.

No, Cavalry Travel Protection allows you to insure your trip as you pay your trip deposits. If you choose, you can insure your initial trip deposit, and then insure your additional trip payments as they are made. 

You may cancel your policy for a full refund within 10 days of purchase, as long as you have not departed for the trip, and no claim has been filed. 

You have 15 days from date of increase to top up your insured amount to maintain your early purchase benefits. 

Yes, you may still purchase Cavalry Travel Protection at any time, however, you are not eligible for the optional CFAR upgrade (this must be purchased within 15 days of your first deposit).
