In Italy’s Dolomites, every ride and hike feels like a dream. Pedal through vineyard-covered valleys, soar by cable car to high alpine meadows, and spin past storybook villages framed by towering peaks. Hike along a panoramic ridge overlooking the Fassa and Duron Valleys, then unwind in luxurious hotels and soothing spas surrounded by serene beauty.
Sample the South Tyrol's finest wines while pedalling through vineyards surrounding Italy's little-known Caldaro wine region.
Mix in day of hiking up to the ridge with breathtaking views of the Fassa and Duron valleys to fully immerse yourself in the splendour of the Dolomites' pale peaks.

Day 1
Our journey begins in the charming Tyrolean city of Bolzano where we’ll hop on our E-bikes and begin pedalling through the Adige Valley and along the Adige River. After a delicious lunch in historic Gasthaus, we’ll continue riding to Schloss Freudenstein for a fabulous welcome dinner in a 13th c castle.

Day 2
Set off on two wheels cycling around the Caldaro wine region, eventually reaching a prestigious wine producer. Enjoy lunch overlooking the vine-covered slopes that descend to the lake, then pedal to nearby Caldaro. This evening, we’ll dine at a nearby residence designed in the Middle Ages.

Day 3
Cycle to Bolzano's cable car and ascend 1,000 m (3,280 ft) to a hilltop village, riding through picturesque hamlets with sweeping panoramic views of the Isarco Valley and Dolomite peaks. After lunch, we’ll catch a final gondola ride to the high alpine meadows of the Alpe di Siusi and a warm welcome leading to dinner surrounded by this idyllic Unesco-designated landscape.

Day 4
Our day begins with a chairlift ride from the hamlet Saltria into the high alpine, followed by a scenic hike along a ridge with breathtaking views of the Fassa and Duron valleys. After lunch at a local mountain cabin, return to the Alpina Dolomites to relax and enjoy a fabulous dinner.

Van support
Due to the location of our trails, van support is limited on most days.
Mountain bikes
A mountain bike frame is the optimal model for stability and versatility where we cycle. The mountain bike frame, along with its battery, is therefore heavier than standard e-bike models.
Activity level
This trip is designed for strong cyclists comfortable with biking on diverse terrain, even with the assistance of an e-bike.
Air conditioning
In some hotels, there may be limited air-conditioning due to the cooler temperatures of these regions.
Equipment
E-Bike
Our e-bikes are regular pedal bikes that provide electric assistance whenever you want it. Each bike is programmed for a specific maximum speed that can be optimized while riding. Our fleet boasts sporty, road-focused bikes with skinny tires, a low-step frame and a very efficient e-system. The bike is incredibly lightweight (for an e-bike), and its clever design makes it extremely comfortable to ride.
