Day 1

Welcome to Ubud, Bali. A driver will be waiting at the airport for your arrival. You’ll then be driven to our first hotel, the Mandapa- A Ritz Carlton Reserve.

Day 2

Our first bike ride beings in the shadows of Mount Batur. Pedal past local farms and paddies before reaching Bali’s most revered temples. We’ll pause for lunch in Bentuyung, then catch a ride back to the hotel. Tonight, we’ll dine at the hotel.

Activity:

29 km (18 mi.) ride through small country roads and villages with elevation gain of 150-250 m (492-820 ft.)

Day 3

Beginning at the top of the mountain, we’ll pedal through small forest-lined roads, eventually branching off through rice paddies to reach Monkey Forest. After lunch back at the hotel, we’re off to our friend Dewa’s compound for a traditional Balinese dinner.

27 km (17 mi.) ride through rice paddies, lush gardens and mountainous areas -elevation gain of 162-250 m (531-820 ft.)

Day 4

We’re off to East Bali today, home of the show-stopping rice terraces Bali is famous for. Pause for lunch at a small cafe before reaching Amankila. Spend the afternoon enjoying the gorgeous property before we head to the beach for dinner.

Day 5

Our ride begins with a few downhills, bringing us through villages and rice paddies on small, quiet roads. Notice the lush vegetation that lines the road and as we pedal, the farmers tending to their crops. Enjoy a relaxing afternoon back at the Aman or join a walk through its layered rice terraces before dinner.

Day 6

If you’d like, embark on an early morning hike before we head to South Bali. Pedal to the interior and through rural farmlands, eventually reaching the village of Kastala. We’ll pass through traditional Balinese village life, witnessing the delicate rattan weaving process.

Day 7

Catch a quick flight to Komodo Island, home of the famed dragons and giant manta rays, where our floating hotel will be waiting for our arrival. Sail to Komodo National Park, where we’ll spend time snorkelling, diving and enjoying the water. Later, we’ll head to the pink beaches for sunset canapés and cocktails.

Day 8

Guided by rangers, we’ll walk through the forest and jungle on an early morning trek in search of the dragons. Back on the boat, we’ll sail to Padar Island for incredible snorkelling and diving, and lunch on White Beach. Tonight, we’ll toast to our magical week together and dine on board.

Day 9

After one final breakfast on board, we say farewell and you’ll be driven to the airport, or your next hotel, for onward travel.
