From dining beneath the stars to cycling through palm-lined oases, Morocco brings the magic. Pedal desert trails, hike to a hidden Amazigh village, dine under Saharan stars, and explore Marrakech with our friend Mohammed. With luxe camps, ancient souks, and tagines that will linger in your dreams, this adventure is as bold and unforgettable as the land itself.

Preview the itinerary
No two trips are ever the same, but this will give you a taste of what your journey will be like.
Day 1
Our ride begins in the outskirts of Skoura, located at the foothills of the High Atlas Mountains and leads us to the Almond Valley. Enjoy a spectacular picnic lunch before exploring further or heading to the hotel to lounge poolside. Tonight, we’ll toast to the week ahead over rooftop cocktails, followed by a private dinner.
Activity:
28-50 km (18-32 mi.) of riding from the outskirts of Skoura to the Almond Valley via the village of Toundout
Day 2
Start pedaling beyond the Amazigh region of Taznaht, biking through groves of palm trees and golden desert landscapes. After a picnic lunch, we’ll meet our camels who will take us across the dunes to our luxurious camp. We’ll then ride into the desert sunset for dancing and dinner beneath the stars.
Activity:
32 km (20 mi.) of riding over gently rolling terrain to the Sahara and through some untouched Amazigh villages
Day 3
Watch the sun rise over the dunes during breakfast before we set off on our morning ride to the oasis of Skoura. Then, we’re off on our Land Cruises for a drive to Dar Ahlam via the Anti Atlas Mountains. This afternoon, join us for a walk in the desert before we enjoy dinner in the various salons at Dar Ahlam.
Activity:
17 km (10 mi.) over gently rolling terrain
Day 4
Set off early for a ride over the High Atlas Mountains, through varying landscapes of desert plains, palm trees, red rich soil and snowy mountain peaks. We’ll arrive at the stunning Kasbah Tamadot, and set off on a ride along the Tizi’n’Test road. Tonight, we dine in the dining room at Kasbah Tamadot.
Activity:
31 km (20 mi.) bike ride along the Tizi’n’Test road with a few small climbs
Day 5
Embark on a challenging hike to the remote Amazigh village of Armound for a glimpse in daily mountain life. We’ll enjoy a meal prepared by local residents before spending the afternoon at leisure. Tonight, we’ll gather for cocktails followed by dinner at an exclusive location at our hotel.
Activity:
10-12 km (6 -7 mi.) of somewhat challenging hiking that climbs to an altitude of about 2,000 m (6,000 ft) and back down again
Optional extension | 46 km (37 mi.)
Day 6
Explore the spectacular “Plateau du Kik” on two wheels, following roads through unspoiled corners where Amazigh settled centuries ago. Stop for lunch at a local restaurant before we set off to Marrakech and spend time enjoying the property. Tonight, venture off for dinner on your own.
Activity:
36 km (19 mi.) ride over rolling terrain
Day 7
We’ll be joined by our local friend and one of Morocco’s premier guides to explore the lavish museums of Marrakech, before heading to his private palace for lunch. Later, relax back at the hotel or wander through the city’s maze of narrow alleyways teeming with artisans and vendors. Tonight, sip on cocktails followed by a special farewell dinner.
Activity:
An easy-going, guided walking tour of top sites in Marrakech

Good to know

Driving
The Saraha is a special place, and it takes a while to get from one destination to the next—including a 5-hour transfer on Day 2 and Day 3.

Rides
Given the amount of time spent in vehicles, there are not many opportunities to extend the biking routes.

Clothing
Although a modest culture, Moroccans are accustomed to seeing cyclists in bike shorts, which are acceptable on this trip.

Vehicles
We’ll be driven from one location to the next in 4x4s—the best vehicle for the terrain we cover.
Why choose a Small Group trip?

An Effortless Journey
Our expert Experience Designers are perfectionists, using first-hand knowledge of routes, restaurants and hotels to create an unforgettable experience. This means all the planning is taken care of for you. All you need to do is enjoy.

Active Exploration
From emerging destinations to iconic sights, B&R trips show you the world in a new way on our expertly developed cycling, walking and hiking routes. Travelling through historic villages and romantic vineyards and up to striking viewpoints, our routes offer a variety of challenges for every activity level.

Friends for Life
Your fellow travellers are as passionate and curious about the world as you are, which means the conversations and laughs will be as free flowing as your drink of choice. Don't be surprised if your group starts planning a reunion before the trip is done.

Room for Surprises
We love a plan, but we adore a spontaneous moment even more. Whether it’s an impromptu al fresco meal or a moon-lit musical performance, our advice is to expect the unexpected.
