Day 1
Our first ride of the week takes us north along the coastal road from Kochikade. While pedalling, watch sandy beaches, colourful fishing boats and lively fish markets come into view. After lunch, we’re off to our villa tucked within the lush vegetation of a tropical jungle for a relaxing afternoon.

Day 2
This morning we’ll hop on our bikes to explore the Cultural Triangle, a playground of UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Our first stop is Anuradhapura, the grandest of all ancient cities. This evening, dinner will be served on the magical Kamata Island, savouring Sri Lankan cuisine under the stars.

Day 3
Our day begins with a ride along an old king’s route through the heart of Sri Lanka, eventually stopping for lunch at our friend’s home. We’ll prepare regional dishes together before we’re off to our next hotel. Spend the rest of the day settling in and enjoying the tranquility of the protected wetland that surrounds the property.

Day 4
We’re off to explore Sigiriya Rock by foot, trekking through water gardens and sculpted boulder buildings to climb the 1,200 steps to the ruins of King Kasyapa’s summer place. After lunch at a former artist’s home turned ayurvedic retreat, we visit the Dambulla Cave Temple, with its golden Buddhas and vivid murals. Later, we return to the hotel to unwind by the pool, with the option of dining at a local restaurant this evening.

Day 5
Today we head by jeep into Minneriya National Park, scanning the shores of the great tank for herds of wild elephants and enjoying a quintessential Sri Lankan wildlife experience. In the afternoon, choose a bike ride or sunset hike through the countryside before returning to Water Garden Sigiriya for another memorable dinner.

Day 6
Late this morning we fly to Sri Lanka’s south coast, trading the Cultural Triangle for the salt-tinged air of the Indian Ocean. On arrival, we take a gentle bike ride around the Kogalla Lagoon, passing palm-fringed lakes, cinnamon gardens and quiet villages. By mid‑afternoon, we arrive in Galle Fort, with time to explore its cafés, galleries and coastline before enjoying the evening on your own.

Day 7
Embark on a boat ride this morning, travelling inland through lush forests and rice paddies. Then, we’re off on our bikes, riding through cinnamon farms and paddy-farming villages. This afternoon is yours to explore the charming streets of Galle or relax at nearby beaches before enjoying dinner on your own.

Day 8
This morning we pedal inland through quiet lanes, rubber groves and low-country tea fields, stopping at a boutique tea factory to see the leaves transformed and enjoy a tasting. After lunch at Cinnamon Hills, we return to Galle for a relaxed afternoon before gathering for a farewell cocktail and final celebratory dinner.

Day 9
After breakfast, transfers are provided to Colombo Airport for your onward journey, with options available for those extending their stay.
