Cycle Flanders’ canals, glide along the Lys River and wander the Ardennes’ forested valleys as you trace the layers of Belgium’s past. From World War I battlefields in Ypres to the WWII landscapes of Bastogne, history is vividly brought to life by those who know it best. Discover centuries of culture, conflict and artistry as you roam medieval streets and uncover secret corners tucked away from the crowds. Along the way, moments of reflection give way to private château lunches, after-hours art and hidden gardens that make the journey as indulgent as it is unforgettable.

Historial Immersion

Experience Belgium where it happened—from the Ypres Salient and the Last Post ceremony to Bastogne, guided by leading historians. Travel through landscapes, time, culture, and language.

Insider Access

Enjoy experiences few travellers could access independently: private château lunches, sunset beers at a Duke’s château-brewery, and an after-hours encounter with the Adoration of the Mystic Lamb. Explore by bike, yacht, on foot, and when history calls, in WWII jeeps.

Diverse Landscapes

Discover the full breadth of Belgium, from Bruges and Ghent to the forested roads of the Ardennes, ending in Luxembourg. Along the way, cross the Netherlands, Germany, and Luxembourg for a multi-country adventure.

Terrain
Terrain

The terrain in Flanders is largely flat, while the Ardennes offer more rolling hills—making this trip suitable and enjoyable for a wide range of cycling fitness levels.

The Sint-Baafs Cathedral is a working cathedral. If certain church-related events come up, we may have to adjust our plans for the exclusive after-hours visit. Travellers will see the Adoration of the Mystic Lamb altarpiece regardless.

This journey emphasizes history and culture more than cycling distance; bikes are a perfect way to move through Belgium’s landscapes, languages, and stories.

Onward Travel

Testimonials

I've stood in front of the Adoration of the Mystic Lamb at least five times. There's always something new.

Belgium is endlessly surprising — three languages, completely different landscapes, and centuries of history packed into a country you can cross in two hours. I designed this trip because I wanted travellers to feel what I feel every time I'm there.
