Carbon Neutral Trip
“A dream place"—that’s how Steinbeck described Amalfi. And when you take in the Path of the Gods, the hotels (we stay at Le Sirenuse, just like he did), the food and the Limoncello, you’ll understand why. Dream place? More like fantasy land—but who are we to correct a Nobel laureate?

Preview the itinerary
No two trips are ever the same, but this will give you a taste of what your journey will be like.
Day 1
Drop anchor in Capri from our private motorboat and get whisked away to the picturesque town of Anacapri. Set off on the path less travelled, past lemon groves, vineyards and ancient churches. Tonight, sip on Prosecco and enjoy an introduction to island cuisine at the hotel's fabulous restaurant.
Activity:
6 km (4 mi.) loop walk around Anacapri on walkways and dirt paths | Elevation gain: 202 m (606 ft.)
Optional walk | 4 km (2.5 mi.) | Elevation gain: 283 m (930 ft.)
Day 2
Join our local historian and Capri native for a walk back in time, strolling along quiet stone paths while catching a glimpse into private villa gardens. Pause for a secluded lunch overlooking the turquoise Mediterranean, then enjoy a relaxing afternoon by the pool or spa. This evening, explore Capri on your own time.
Activity:
8 km (5 mi.) walk along stone paths and up hundreds of steps | Elevation 363 m (1,190 ft.)
Optional walk | 4 km (3 mi.) | Elevation gain: 74 m (242 ft.)
Day 3
Ride the sparkling sea waves to the colourful and quaint seaside village, Minori. Stop for an espresso and pastry at a famous bakery before hiking beside ancient lemon groves, ending in medieval Ravello. Savour an unforgettable dinner at the hotel restaurant.
Activity:
4 km (3 mi.) walk from Minori to Ravello | Elevation gain: 320 m (1,049 ft)
Day 4
Head down the cliffside to explore the coast's namesake town of Amalfi. Then, we'll witness ravishing views from above with a heavenly walk along the Path of the Gods. Stop for lunch along the way before being whisked away to the colourful ancient fishing village of Positano.
Activity:
7 km (4 mi.) walk from Bomerano on rocky terrain with some steep sections | Elevation gain: 245 m (803 ft)
Optional walk | 3 km (2 mi.)
Day 5
Scale the challenging Monte Pertuso, or opt for a self-guided walk through magical Positano. After exploring on your own for lunch, spend the afternoon however you wish; perhaps shopping or lounging poolside. At the sun’s first hint of setting, we'll dine in the town’s top restaurant with an unforgettable scene of twinkling lights around us.
Activity:
7 km (4 mi.) walk from Montepertuso with a long climb at the start followed by hundreds of descending steps | Elevation gain: 439 m (1,440 ft)
Optional walk | 2 km (1 mi.) | Elevation gain: 231 m (758 ft.)
Day 6
Enjoy one last breakfast in Positano before heading back to Naples for your onward travels. Arrivederci.

Some hikes have challenging uphills, uneven terrain and lots of steps that cannot be avoided. We recommend familiarity with hiking in these conditions.

Motion sickness
If you suffer motion sickness, be prepared as there are some private boat transfers and winding mountain roads.

Van support
Due to the location of our trails, van support is limited on this trip.

Packing
To comfortably hike the Amalfi Coast, we recommend packing sturdy hiking books with good ankle support.
