In the Swiss landscapes that inspired Tolkien’s Middle-earth, trade hobbits for hiking boots, and get ready to indulge. From alpine Kandersteg to the jaw-dropping Lauterbrunnen Valley, this self-guided journey winds through wildflower meadows, roaring rivers, and peaks that practically narrate their own epic. No orcs, just outrageous views—and a whole lot of alpine magic.

Experience the beauty of Switzerland, where majestic mountain landscapes are perfectly complemented by charming towns and villages.

Stay perched above the Lauterbrunnen Valley, where shimmering waterfalls carve through the dramatic landscape. In this pedestrian town, enjoy intimate evenings, shared only with fellow hikers, welcoming locals, and the sunset-kissed Eiger views.

Soar to new heights and take in breathtaking views with a cable car ride up to the iconic Schilthorn.

Good to know

Food
The Swiss are very fond of their butter and cheese! While available, vegan options are limited outside of cities.

Air conditioning
Swiss law prevents hotels situated at high altitudes from having air conditioning. Your rooms have cooling systems, and you can open the windows at night to take advantage of the cool air.

Getting around
While being in the mountain village of Mürren is extraordinary, getting there and back does require a cable car and train or hike.
