Celebrate Summer
(All Winter Long…)

Summer may have “officially” started on June 21st, but for most of us, the next few days mark the start of summer holidays, when we gather with friends and family, stake umbrellas at the beach, or linger under twinkling lights clinking glasses on the patio.

And though summer always seems to fade faster than we’d like, these rituals—and the celebrations they encourage—need not. We haven’t figured out an endless summer, per se, but we can help you dive into the turquoise waters of Hawaii’s Kohala Coast, meander along the iconic Mekong, or indulge in the delicious taste of asado (the traditional Chilean barbecue) so that you can keep the spirit of summer alive, no matter what the calendar says.

Sri Lanka Biking Private

Our trip designers put their creative stamp on this diverse biking adventure. From the bustling port city of Negombo, to the Cultural Triangle, with truly remarkable hotels (including two ancestral estates and an eco-lodge on stilts), this is the very best of Sri Lanka. We visit World Heritage sites, sacred cities, lush plantations, rushing waterfalls and magical Galle, a perfectly preserved colonial town.

Bhutan Cultural Journey Private

Set against the backdrop of sacred mountains, this isolated kingdom offers an entirely unique travel experience. Granted permission to be among the mere 14,000 visitors permitted each year, we make the most of it. Wander the incredible mountainscapes, where the lamas and monks greet us, sip tea with us, and then bless our journey in an elaborate (not to mention highly musical) prayer ceremony. There’s more where that came from, but sadly, we’ve hit our space limit. Fortunately, Bhutan’s wonders know none.

Laos Biking Private

A notoriously relaxed country and people, the Laotians have taught even us a thing or two about the art of slowing down. An emerging travel destination, Laos is the home of a UNESCO-protected city, colonial architecture, a Buddhist legacy, and miles and miles of Mekong-side riding. By means of bike, boat and your two feet, uncover the temples and monuments of its capital city, gaze at the largest and widest waterfalls in the world and witness the monks’ morning prayer.

Any decision to travel here must be carefully considered—but we think it’s the right thing to do. The Burmese people embrace us and encourage us to return.

This is India—a land of people that conquer and create today, as much as they did centuries ago.
