Day 1
Hike to the outskirts of Vienna to explore the 700 hectares of vineyards. Learn the rules dating back to the 1800s around the traditional Austrian Heuriger while relishing homemade delicacies. Later, visit the 19th c. wine archive inside the Palais Coburg, home to over 60,000 bottles.

Day 2
Warm up your legs on a ride starting in Deutsch Haslau and through a handful of small Austrian villages. Enjoy lunch on the banks of Lake Neusiedl at a trendy locale. Tonight, dinner will be at Taubenkobel's world-class restaurant, a definite trip highlight!

Day 3
Looping past vineyards and farmland, you'll arrive at the Austro-Hungarian Cold War border crossing, known for its importance as one of the first cracks of the Iron Curtain. Enter Hungary, where you will meet a former local politician who will enlighten you on the events of the summer of 1989. Tonight, we'll drive to nearby Purbach for a memorable dinner.

Day 4
Pedal through gentle hills into a little-known wine region to the town of Koveskal. Wind down this afternoon as Lake Balaton comes into view and finish your ride above the north shores of the lake. Tonight, we'll dine at the hotel's gourmand restaurant.

Day 5
Choose the route that feels best for you today, and cycle to Tihany before arriving at the lakeside peninsula. Roam the alleys of the abbey founded in 1055 surrounded by lavender and history. This afternoon, we'll introduce you to our favourite winery in the area for a tasting before dinner on the terrace.

Day 6
Choose to spend the morning paddling on the Lake Balaton with an industry expert- an Olympic champion. Cruise along the Danube into Budapest and our splendid hotel. Then we'll embark on a guided walking tour before an unforgettable dinner finale.

Day 7
