Day 1

Start with a warm-up bike ride along the coastal Rambla, followed by a meeting with Lobo, an Afro-Uruguayan drum craftsman who worked with famous musicians worldwide. Enjoy a traditional Parrilla lunch at Mercado Del Puerto and explore the historic streets of Ciudad Vieja.

Day 2

Hike through the Tuscan-like countryside, visiting a local olive farm with breathtaking valley views. Explore Pueblo Eden, indulge in a wine tasting at Viña Eden, and unwind at the hotel before a recommended dinner. Tonight, we'll dine at one of our favourite spots.

Day 3

Ride to La Barra Bay, passing the 'crazy bridge' on the way to a stream where we'll swap our bikes for kayaks. Reach Fasano beach for a picnic lunch and a beach yoga session. Afterward, enjoy a hand-harvested wine experience at Aguaverde.

Day 4

Ride along the coast and visit the Atchugarry Foundation, a private sculpture park created by Uruguayan artist Pablo Atchugarry. Stop in the stylish surf town of José Ignacio, followed by a scenic spin to Estancia Vik, where you can enjoy a yerba mate tasting this evening.

Day 5

Bike from Estancia Vik to the rural village of Garzón, known as a hidden culinary and art haven. Enjoy a hands-on cooking class at El Garzon led by Chef Francis Mallmann. Choose to bike back or arrange a ride and spend the evening at leisure at Estancia Vik.

Day 6

Explore Garzón beautiful countryside on two feet, learning about indigenous plants and visiting La Tertulia wellness centre for insights into organic cultivation. Indulge in lunch at Bodega Garzón, followed by a tour of the modern bodega. Tonight, we'll visit our favourite spot in Uruguay for dinner.

Day 7

Cruise rural trails and quiet roads in the Natural Garzon Lagoon Reserve, keeping a lookout for native wildlife like armadillo and capybara. Tonight, the Bahia Vik hosts an unforgettable evening for us to celebrate our journey together.

This morning, get a final look at the Uruguayan coast and shake the sand out of your shoes. We’ll drive you back to the Montevideo airport for your onward travel. Until next time, farewell!
