Day 1

We'll meet in Barcelona before heading to Banyoles, a small but lively Catalan town. We’ll soar on a ribbon of road through the Garroxta to a small, medieval village in the Alt Empordà where we’ll stop for lunch in the plaza. Continue pedalling to the Dalí Theatre-Museum.for a private tour, then we’ll be whisked to the hotel. Tonight, we’ll gather in the hotel kitchen to learn how to make alioli and indulge in fideua for our first dinner together.

50 km (31 mi.) gently rolling ride through the lush landscapes of the Garrotxa and Alt Empordà | Elevation gain: 499 m (1,545 ft.)

Day 2

Ride through the Alt Empordà, nestled between the Pyrénées and the Mediterranean. Pause for a café con leche along the way before we stop for lunch at a local winery. Then, we’re back on our bikes to pedal back to the hotel. Tonight, we’ll stroll to a kilometre-zero dinner in the town next door.

56 km (35 mi.) Scenic loop through the Alt Empordà farm and vineyard country | Elevation gain: 555 m (1,820 ft.)

Day 3

Pedal to the Baix Emporda, where lush forests juxtapose fields of vineyards and olive groves. We'll stop for lunch in one of Catalonia’s most beautiful villages, Ullastret. Tonight, meet with a native of Begur to steep in the history of the Empordá region.

Day 4

Enjoy a stunning ride from the seaside town of Tossa de Mar along the Mediterranean shore with breathtaking views around every corner. The afternoon is yours to pedal deeper into the countryside or rejuvenate at the spa. This evening, a lovely dinner and wine pairing awaits at a local winery.

Day 5

Ride through small hamlets on our way to the Mediterranean coast, stopping for lunch and a refreshing swim in a tucked-away cove. This evening, raise your glass and enjoy a traditional Catalan feast to end the week.
