Carbon Neutral Trip

Intrepid women have been hiking the Camino de Santiago for centuries—and we're proud to follow in their footsteps. Wander cobblestone lanes, toast independence at Palacio de Canedo, and saunter through vineyard-speckled valleys. Pilgrim past historic chapels, meet trailblazing local women, and finish at Galicia, where rugged mountain coastlines lead to the lighthouse at the end of the world.

Local Connections
Settle in for cocktails while learning about stories of female emancipation in Galicia and Spain with our local friend Maria, an art historian.

Vibrant Culture
Learn about the history of female pilgrims along the Camino and influential women like Rosalía de Castro, a pioneer in 19th-century Spanish and Galician literature.

One-of-a-kind-Hotels
Tuck in each night at a new hotel—just like a true pilgrim!

One of the most rewarding purposes you can have.

It has once been said that a pilgrim is a wanderer with a purpose. For me, wandering along the Camino de Santiago whilst soaking up its surroundings is one of the most rewarding purposes you can have when visiting this enchanting part of northern Spain.

Good to know

Accommodation
Accommodation

The Camino de Santiago offers simpler accommodation, which does not always include twin beds. B&R has access to the best in the region, where luxury presents itself in the form of local charm, comfort and great service.

Packing
Packing

Hiking shoes are not required for the Camino de Santiago. We’d recommend packing hybrid/trail shoes.

Getting there/home
Getting there/home

We recommend arriving in Madrid before the trip and taking the high-speed train to Leon. After the trip, we recommend flying home from Santiago airport.

Travelling through historic villages and romantic vineyards and up to striking viewpoints, our routes offer a variety of challenges for every activity level.

Friends for Life

Your fellow travellers are as passionate and curious about the world as you are, which means the conversations and laughs will be as free flowing as your drink of choice. Don't be surprised if your group starts planning a reunion before the trip is done.

Room for Surprises

We love a plan, but we adore a spontaneous moment even more. Whether it’s an impromptu al fresco meal or a moon-lit musical performance, our advice is to expect the unexpected.
