We use premium hotels that are unique expressions of the region. Often they’ve had a previous life as a monastery or a castle, but in every case they offer an exceptionally comfortable stay.
These are stylish 4-star properties that offer a casual and comfortable stay. Often without a 24-hour concierge or room service, they tend to be smaller family-run hotels that are perfect for the region.

“I get moving at least once a week, and don’t mind a little sweat.”
“I get moving a few times per week and enjoy some exertion.”
“I want to feel invigorated each day and going hard is how I like to do that.”
Canada's capital of history
How do you improve on luscious cuisine, vibrant city squares and ethereal cultural charms of Europe? Put it in your own backyard—and sprinkle in a dash of Canadian politeness. Here, you will picnic along charming rivers, practice your French, then sample cider and seasonal berries as you ride the bucolic countryside from 400-year-old Quebec City to beautiful Baie-Saint-Paul. Biking and walking through it all, you will soon appreciate why this pocket of North America is truly special—a place where hockey, maple syrup, food and politics are religion (though not necessarily in that order!).
