We use premium hotels that are unique expressions of the region. Often they’ve had a previous life as a monastery or a castle, but in every case they offer an exceptionally comfortable stay.
These are stylish 4-star properties that offer a casual and comfortable stay. Often without a 24-hour concierge or room service, they tend to be smaller family-run hotels that are perfect for the region.
“I can’t say I really ‘work out,’ but I’m in good shape and am relatively active.”
“I enjoy a good walk or ride, and feel comfortable while on the move.”
“I get moving at least once a week, and don’t mind a little sweat.”
“I get moving a few times per week and enjoy some exertion.”
“I want to feel invigorated each day and going hard is how I like to do that.”
The myths, legends and magic of Nepal
A visit to Nepal is equally humbling as it is enlightening. Anchored by the mighty Himalayan mountains, the life force that dominates the country, a sense of serenity permeates across the land, echoed by the scent of incense, glow of butter lamps and sounds of Buddhist chants. On our journey, we’ll trek to monumental holy stupas, immerse ourselves in nature amid rhinos and tigers, and have the chance to see Mount Everest from a spectacular bird’s-eye view. Rooted in ancient traditions, not much has changed in Nepal over the centuries—but one thing it will forever change is you.

Day by Day
Welcome to Kathmandu! You will be met by a representative at the airport, assisted with your visa and driven to your hotel. Today is yours to relax and unwind from your travels.
This morning you may opt to take a helicopter ride for a bird's-eye view over Mount Everest. Later we’ll visit Patan, a city of artisans, to peruse its local crafts, Hindu temples and Buddhist monasteries.
We‘ll fly to Pokhara for a perfect start to our hiking adventures. From the mountain top, we'll work our way down through the small villages and mustard fields that dot the mountain ridge.
We'll wander through forests and rice terraces to the Peace Stupa, a Buddhist pagoda perched high above Pokhara city and Fewa Lake. We’ll look around with our guide and soak up the views of the Annapurna range.
Today we'll dine up high overlooking the Annapurna range. After lunch at our cliffside table, we’ll continue walking through the forests along the ridge before heading back to our hotel.
We'll board a quick flight to the Chitwan National Park. This afternoon, we'll take a game drive to track down one-horned rhinos (sightings guaranteed!), more than 500 species of birds and Bengal tigers!
Crossing the river by boat, we'll return to the park with a naturalist to wander through a landscape of jungle, forest and wetland. This afternoon, we'll visit a nearby village to learn more about the local Tharu people.
This morning, we’ll fly to Dhulikhel via Kathmandu. We'll check-in at our new home for the next two nights, the dazzling Dwarika’s Resort, with time to take advantage of its exceptional amenities.
We'll climb to the Namo Buddha, one Nepal's most sacred Buddhist pilgrimage sites, and visit the village's ancient temple. Tonight we'll enjoy poolside dinner to toast our final night together.
After breakfast, we’ll drive you to the airport for your international connections home. So long!
Adventure meets stillness in the Himalayas.
