Day by Day
After our rendezvous in Newquay, you'll pedal off along Cornwall's north coast toward the foodie haven of Padstow for an unforgettable lunch at Rick Stein’s restaurant.
Cycle inland to Portreath and then back to the coastline where you'll hop aboard a train for a quick journey into the town of St. Ives; a town celebrated for its art-inspiring light.
A ferry brings you from St. Mawes to St. Anthony for your ride along a spectacular coastal route to the 12thC fishing village of Mevagissey. This afternoon the head gardener of your new hotel will provide a tour of the Humphrey Repton-designed grounds.
Depart your hotel by bicycle riding through the historic village of Lydford before joining up with the Granite Trail. This evening an archaeologist provides insight on the area's fascinating ancient history.
Cycle through Dartmoor National Park amid a landscape of open moors and river valleys with Neolithic tombs. For your final night, enjoy a 2-star Michelin tasting menu at your hotel's restaurant.
After a final breakfast at the hotel, it's time to part ways. We'll drive you to Exeter train station, from which you're free to continue your onward travels. Cheerio!

This trip is appropriate for travelers who enjoy going for a good ride and can handle an incline or two. The terrain we cover is varied. We’ll enjoy some gently rolling hills, with wonderful downhills and a few climbs which will be a bit more demanding. Rewarding views are guaranteed. Daily distances range from 20 to 100 km (12.5 to 62 mi.) and options for shorter or longer rides are available on all days.
