Day by Day
Your guide awaits you in San Jose and will accompany you to your hotel, Casa Turire. Opt to head out on an easygoing hike to explore the abundant Costa Rican flora and fauna on one of the neighbouring trails.
Start your day with a thrilling morning of river rafting as you paddle your way through the rapids down the Pacuare River. Take in the jungle vistas from up above as you glide between treetop canopies on a zip line tour.
Take advantage of the morning activity of the jungle on a guided nature walk filled with hummingbirds and butterflies. Visit the Nairi Awari Indigenous Reserve where the son of a local shaman will speak of the culture and customs of the Cabecar Indians.
Get your heartbeat racing on a thrilling white-water journey, stopping for a riverside picnic lunch en route. Take a short flight to Playa Cativo, one of the most biologically diverse natural reserves in the world.
Venture out on a kayak today as you paddle your way through the mangroves on the Rio Esquinas in search of wildlife. Partake in one of the self-guided activities offered by the lodge including stand-up paddle boarding or snorkelling.
Discover the Piedras Blancas park trails and its several thousand inhabitants of different plants, trees, birds, reptiles and more. Hike through the virgin rainforest and pristine waterfalls, graced with panoramic views of the Golfo Dulce, wetlands, and beach.
