We use premium hotels that are unique expressions of the region. Often they’ve had a previous life as a monastery or a castle, but in every case they offer an exceptionally comfortable stay.
These are stylish 4-star properties that offer a casual and comfortable stay. Often without a 24-hour concierge or room service, they tend to be smaller family-run hotels that are perfect for the region.

A region known most popularly thanks to the world famous sparkling wine born in these parts, Champagne is actually much more than just a region built by bubbles. Its history spans centuries and riding through its historic hills means travelling through significant periods of France’s fascinating past. And let’s not forget the enchanted wine that has made this region the undisputed “toast” of the centuries. This is, after all, the place where the famous Dom Perignon, cellar-master at the Abbaye de Hautvillers, refined age-old traditions and created revolutionary techniques for producing Champagne. As for the biking, the empty roads stretch out like a ribbon through the rolling hills covered in cabbage, wheat and of course, vines. Oh, and did we mention that Château les Crayeres (your hotel!) is considered by many to be the finest hotel in France? Get ready to be amazed.
