Carbon Neutral Trip
Botswana is wild, raw and endlessly captivating. Half pristine wilderness, half pure magic. Witness zebra and wildebeest thundering across open plains, gaze out over salt pans, and drift by mokoro through the mirrored channels of the Okavango Delta. With horseback rides, walking trails and game drives across an array of ecosystems and starlit skies that feel close enough to touch, Botswana is untamed and unforgettably yours.
In Botswana's wild heart, elephants roam in massive herds and lions rule the open plains. From the Okavango Delta to Chobe National Park to the dry Kalahari, this is a front-row seat to nature’s greatest show.
Travel with purpose. Botswana follows a “high value, low volume” tourism model, ensuring wildlife and ecosystems always remain protected.
The Okavango Delta is one of the world’s largest inland deltas. This rare natural wonder changes with the seasons, offering an ever-changing paradise for wildlife and adventure seekers alike.

Botswana Desert to Delta
Discover Botswana’s most striking contrasts on a safari from the Desert to the Delta. Explore the shimmering expanse of the Makgadikgadi salt pans, where the silence feels endless. Move from this ancient desertscape into the lush Okavango Delta, where winding waterways carve a sanctuary for countless species. Drift by mokoro through mirrored channels lined with papyrus reeds, listening to the calls of kingfishers and the rustle of reeds stirred by hidden hippos. Good to know

Traveller Age
Botswana is an excellent destination for children with many activities; however, Botswana's law indicates travellers must be at least 16 to sleep alone in tents. We recommend a minimum age of 13 for walking.

Time of Year
May to October’s dry season draws animals to lower rivers and pans, making sightings more predictable. Consider visiting during this season for optimal wildlife viewing and outdoor activities.

Planning
Botswana's low-volume tourism means popular safaris fill quickly. We recommend booking at least 12 months in advance. Please reach out early to start planning your trip.

Getting there/home
We recommend connecting through Johannesburg or South Africa's airports.

Flights
Most lodges in Botswana are fly in and fly out. Please be prepared to travel in small bush planes.
