Spend more time in Amsterdam
We highly recommend that you spend a couple days in Amsterdam before your B&R trip begins. Amsterdam is a great city and well worth at least a day’s visit (you could spend this long in the van Gogh Museum alone). Its network of canals, the balance struck between historic buildings and modern architecture, great shopping plus lovely patios that provide great people watching make this a wonderful city that often doesn’t feel as big as it is.
