Scheduled Trips? Absolutely.
“Group tours”? Not quite.
B&R doesn’t do tours—we run trips that bring together a few like-minded travellers who enjoy doing their own thing.
At B&R, we work hard to plan your day—meticulously—but never chain you to it. We know that the most memorable moments happen when the best-laid plans reinvent themselves. On a B&R trip our travellers can easily find time away from the group. You can choose whether to join in or enjoy some alone time. Your guide helps make it happen.
People who choose to spend their precious vacation time biking or walking with B&R tend to share our outlook on life and travel; they want an active vacation, sure, but one that stimulates the mind and palate too. Plus they want to have fun. As a result, our trips are packed with people who share a sense of wanderlust, an appreciation for travelling in style and the belief that a good belly laugh is good for the soul.
Time On Your Own
While we love breaking bread with new friends, we also appreciate that some meals are best spent in private company. That’s why each of our trips offers the opportunity to spend some time on your own. Looking for a romantic dinner for two this evening? We can point out our favourite spots. Feel like hitting the spa this afternoon? We’ll catch up with you later tonight.
Please, Put Your Wallet Away
Once your B&R trip begins, you can turn off the part of your brain responsible for currency conversion. We don’t want you to even think about taking out your wallet. We pay for everything it makes sense to pay for. Wine? Of course. Your shopping spree at Hermès? Umm, no.
B&R guides are an exceptional group. They are consummate hosts, mind readers and raconteurs. Think teachers, painters, travel writers, architects, botanists and biologists. You should see their CVs. They’ve lived all over the world. They speak a gazillion languages. And they’re ridiculously fun to be around.Meet Your Guides
