B&R's 2013 Traveller
With New Year’s Eve behind us and the Champagne bottles triumphantly empty (and properly recycled, of course), it’s time to look back on the year that was at B&R. Fortunately, our intrepid travellers make it easy for us to do just that.
We received a ton of entries to our traveller photo contest this year, giving our expert panel of judges the unenviable task of narrowing down the winners in each of our three categories: Faces, Places and Moments.
After a series of painstaking deliberations, you can check out the winning shots in our slideshow below. A huge congratulations goes out to our three winners: Ian Shrank, Roderick Greenlees and Rachel Schneiderman, each of whom wins a $1,500 trip credit with B&R!
Faces: Ian Shank, Myanmar Biking.
A group of young boys about to go to a local temple and be inducted as novice monks after a prayer service.
Moments: Roderick Greenlees, Normandy Family Biking.
“The picture was taken on the last day of our trip at the American Cemetery at Utah Beach.
Places: Rachel Schneiderman, Tuscany Biking.
“Locanda dell Amoroso: a shot of the long road, just outside the building where our room was located.
We’re so grateful to everyone who entered that we couldn’t keep their great shots to ourselves. Check out our Facebook page to see just how tough our judges had it—and vote for your favourite. The photo that gets the most likes on our Facebook page by the end of the month will win its photographer a $150 gift certificate with our partner Longitude Books!
