Alsace

“The Proud”

Through successive invasions, occupations and annexations, Alsatians have fought to sustain a distinct identity in their culture, cuisine and peppery white wines. Bike between the Rhône River and the foothills of the Vosges. Visit medieval castles and ancient fortified towns. Explore one of France’s hidden treasures and enjoy a unique French-German cultural heritage.

Meet our Alsace Experts

Annik Boulva

Trip Designer

Trip Designer Annik (pronounced “a knick”) Boulva caught the travel bug the old fashioned way, when skiing brought her to training camps in France, Argentina, Chile and beyond. Since then, she’s spent the better part of a decade guiding and reseraching trips through France for B&R.

Kathy Stewart

Trip Designer

Expert Trip Designer Kathy Stewart visited more than 30 countries by the age of 18 and has a natural knack for revealing a region’s most authentic (and fun!) experiences. While the moniker “Chatty Kathy” wasn’t actually invented for her, it might as well have been.

Meet Kathy

Allison Barnes

Travel Advisor

When Allison interviewed at B&R, we planned to ask if she shared our passion for adventure, food and the open road. Then we saw her resumé: Worked amongst grizzly bears at a private wildlife lodge in British Columbia. Travelled Africa working for the Tour d’Afrique bike race. Cooked for cyclists riding from Turkey to Uzbekistan. After all that, all we asked was “When can you start?” Call Allison at 1-800-678-1147 x 457.

The events and dinners were superb. We loved the ambiance of the hotels and the incredible service and hospitality of our guides. A very memorable trip!
