Your dates. Your group. Our expertly-designed itinerary.
Tailored to your interests, a bespoke travel experience.
Combines the hallmarks of any B&R itinerary (excellent hotels and beautiful routes) with the freedom of pacing each day exactly the way you like.
Throughout the day, a knowledgeable local guide provides insider access and expert tips. At night, you can explore and dine on your own.

We use premium hotels that are unique expressions of the region. Often they’ve had a previous life as a monastery or a castle, but in every case they offer an exceptionally comfortable stay.
These are stylish 4-star properties that offer a casual and comfortable stay. Often without a 24-hour concierge or room service, they tend to be smaller family-run hotels that are perfect for the region.
“I can’t say I really ‘work out,’ but I’m in good shape and am relatively active.”
“I enjoy a good walk or ride, and feel comfortable while on the move.”
“I get moving at least once a week, and don’t mind a little sweat.”
“I get moving a few times per week and enjoy some exertion.”
“I want to feel invigorated each day and going hard is how I like to do that.”
The perfect pace for a stunning place
After more than 10 years of travelling in Vietnam, we know it like our own backyard (every magical corner and scenic road). We’ve walked everywhere, made hundreds of friends, compared hotels, explored tombs, studied the culture and walked some more. The result? A trip that we feel is—at the risk of sounding immodest—perfect. It introduces you to the best of the best in this incredible land, including UNESCO sites, coastal resorts, colonial gems, and historic must-sees. All the highlights, and then some more—those special encounters that only come from exploring a place on two feet.

Day by Day
Discover Hanoi by cyclo (a bike-propelled cart), making stops at the Temple of Literature and the Old Quarter for a crash course in Vietnamese culture.
After a quick flight south, explore the colourful shops in the UNESCO-recognized city of Hoi An. Tonight, sit down for some of Vietnam’s best fusion cuisine at our friend Duc's restaurant.
Wander through Hoi An's bustling morning market, then set out on a leisurely countryside stroll. (Keep an eye out for water buffalo!)
Spend the morning exploring secret tunnels and hidden grottos filled with religious statues and places of worship. Lunch promises to be some of the best Vietnamese food you've ever tasted.
Drive to Phan Rang, stopping along the way to visit the Po Nagar Cham Towers (one of the significant historical and religious relics of the Champa Kingdom).
Indulge in luxury at the Amanoi (this is a vacation, remember). Stretch those legs with an optional Rock Park hike challenge—the breathtaking views of Vinh Hy Bay make it worthwhile!
Breakfast and departure are at your leisure this morning. We will bring you to the airport based on your outbound flight time. Better yet, talk to your Travel Advisor about extending your trip to Cambodia!

As we walked, our most memorable moments were those that involved interaction with the people we encountered. My husband, a teacher, was thrilled to interact with school children, and we were invited to share a beer in one house and look at the bonsai garden in another! The guides on the trip were knowledgeable and forthcoming, and the occasional surprises were a blast! There was little more you could ask for from B&R.— Diana Jacobs
