Nordic Chic
Inspiringly minimalist and warmly inviting, chic and understated or a riot of colour to ward off long grey winters. Stockholm and Copenhagen move to their own rhythm, quietly living the world’s highest quality of life, trendsetters in food, design and healthy transportation. From quiet bike paths to “bike superhighways,” both cities believe in the power of the pedal, and for work and play those paths and lanes fill with locals breathing real air beside you.
This is a signature B&R Biking trip—expertly guided, small groups, premium hotels.

Day by Day
Set off on foot to explore the hidden byways and medieval landmarks of Gamla Stan, Stockholm’s old town with our local guide. Board a boat with the locals and head out for cocktails and some marvellous seafood at one of the city’s top tables.
Hop on city bikes and explore Stockholm’s famed bike paths. Stop along the way to visit the boutiques and galleries of Södermalm Island before pedaling on to Djurgården, once a royal game reserve and now Stockholmers’ favourite green play area.
Embark on a ferry ride to the Stockholm archipelago, one of the largest in the world. Explore Vaxholm, the unofficial capital of the island chain and now home to countless colourful summer cottages. Hop a ferry back to central Stockholm for some free time.
Take a flight across southern Sweden and ride into Copenhagen through the Christianshavens Vold Park. Cycle through the royal Rosenborg Castle’s gardens and cruise to the Danish Design Museum for a tour with our local guide.
Sample the Danish capital’s varied neighbourhoods of Vesterport, Frederiksberg and Nørrebo. Spend the afternoon people-watching in a hip café, shopping, spa-going, or cycling a longer option north, returning along the seashore.
Departure is at your leisure after breakfast, but for those staying on, join B&R for a guided visit to infamous Christiania, a former military base turned hippie commune. Your guides will be happy to assist you with your travel plans.
