The right number of like-minded travellers to make new friends.
Your dates. Your group. Our expertly-designed itinerary.
Tailored to your interests, a bespoke travel experience.
Combines the hallmarks of any B&R itinerary (excellent hotels and beautiful routes) with the freedom of pacing each day exactly the way you like.
Throughout the day, a knowledgeable local guide provides insider access and expert tips. At night, you can explore and dine on your own.
Our B&R guides are with you throughout, anticipating needs, translating languages, providing advice and—above all—facilitating fun.
We use premium hotels that are unique expressions of the region. Often they’ve had a previous life as a monastery or a castle, but in every case they offer an exceptionally comfortable stay.
These are stylish 4-star properties that offer a casual and comfortable stay. Often without a 24-hour concierge or room service, they tend to be smaller family-run hotels that are perfect for the region.
“I can’t say I really ‘work out,’ but I’m in good shape and am relatively active.”
“I enjoy a good walk or ride, and feel comfortable while on the move.”
“I get moving at least once a week, and don’t mind a little sweat.”
“I get moving a few times per week and enjoy some exertion.”
“I want to feel invigorated each day and going hard is how I like to do that.”
Camel rides, kite surfing & fab food
Morocco is one of our oldest friends—the land, in fact, where the idea of a B&R “Expedition” was born. We saw a foreign, exotic, stunning country that lent itself beautifully to our penchant for exploration, and knew we absolutely had to introduce B&R travellers to it. And despite its easy proximity to Europe, we knew they may only come once. And so, we give you the best of Morocco: Berber villages, stunning oases, fabulous food, the High Atlas Mountains, and the incredible city of Marrakech.

Day by Day
Upon your arrival at the Marrakech Menara International airport, you will be met by your driver and taken to the grand Royal Palm hotel located in the Palmerie outside of Marrakech. Take the rest of the day to relax in the stunning grounds of the property.
Head out towards the peaks of the High Atlas Mountains this morning. On the way, make a stop at “Terres d’Amanares,” an impressive complex of climbing structures in the trees, zip lines and lots of fun for the whole family! After lunch, drive from the desert plains of Marrakech to rich red soil and snowy mountains peaks.
Meet your guide for an easy trek in the High Atlas Mountains this morning. Walk right from your hotel and head south through juniper and oak forests. Enjoy a picnic lunch in this glorious setting before heading back towards the Kasbah and enjoying the rest of your afternoon—perhaps it’s time to try your first hamman?
Our destination today is the Agafay Desert—long called the “Sahara at the Door of Marrakech.” Along the road, camels await to take you for a ride to the oasis of La Pause. Jump in the refreshing waters before an afternoon at your leisure and an evening spent in true desert fashion—under the stars!
Travel down the coast to the relaxed seaside town and millennia-old trading post of Essaouira. Stop for lunch at a French-owned vineyard, Val d’Argan and partake in a wine tasting before heading to our Riad, located within the walls of the ancient town and just steps from the sea.
Explore the lively port, fish markets and narrow streets lined with whitewashed buildings this morning. The Sqala of the Kasbah—the artillery platform on the ramparts—offers incomparable views of the ocean. Enjoy lunch at a waterside café and later explore local artisan studios.
Arrive back to Marrakech and enjoy lunch at Café de la Poste before exploring the city. Visit the exquisite Bahia Palace and the Museum of Art of Marrakech before meeting with our friend Mohammed who will lead us through the amazing garden of Jacques Majorelle, once owned by Yves Saint-Laurent.
Delve into the chaos of the city again with a crafts-focused tour through Djemaa el Fna square, a labyrinth of stalls and artisan workshops bringing together more than 2,600 craftsmen. In the late afternoon, shop for fresh ingredients for your cooking class, culminating in a fantastic homemade dinner.
Enjoy breakfast and a morning to yourself as you await your ride to the Marrakech International airport. Bon voyage!

Villa de L’O, Essaouira
Located a few meters from the beach, the Villa de l’O is a 18thC palace which been tastefully restored a few years ago.
