Denmark Biking Tours

Two-wheeled Paradise

With a deeply ingrained philosophy called hygge – loosely defined as warmth, inclusiveness and solidarity – the Danish are repeatedly rated the happiest people on Earth. And on this exploration from the rural roads of Fyn to the heart of Copenhagen’s cosmopolitan cool, you’ll come to understand why—superb hotels, the culinary phenom that is the New Nordic Cuisine, and heavenly level of friendliness certainly have something to do with it. And then there’s the cycling, perhaps the best in the world thanks to the Danish desire to minimize reliance on the automobile. Roadside paths merge into biking superhighways, while those who do drive observe the utmost respect toward bikers. It is a two-wheeled paradise. Hygge indeed.

Signature

We use premium hotels that are unique expressions of the region. Often they’ve had a previous life as a monastery or a castle, but in every case they offer an exceptionally comfortable stay.

Bistro

These are stylish 4-star properties that offer a casual and comfortable stay. Often without a 24-hour concierge or room service, they tend to be smaller family-run hotels that are perfect for the region.
