The right number of like-minded travellers to make new friends.
Your dates. Your group. Our expertly-designed itinerary.
Tailored to your interests, a bespoke travel experience.
Combines the hallmarks of any B&R itinerary (excellent hotels and beautiful routes) with the freedom of pacing each day exactly the way you like.
Throughout the day, a knowledgeable local guide provides insider access and expert tips. At night, you can explore and dine on your own.
Our B&R guides are with you throughout, anticipating needs, translating languages, providing advice and—above all—facilitating fun.
We use premium hotels that are unique expressions of the region. Often they’ve had a previous life as a monastery or a castle, but in every case they offer an exceptionally comfortable stay.
These are stylish 4-star properties that offer a casual and comfortable stay. Often without a 24-hour concierge or room service, they tend to be smaller family-run hotels that are perfect for the region.
“I can’t say I really ‘work out,’ but I’m in good shape and am relatively active.”
“I enjoy a good walk or ride, and feel comfortable while on the move.”
“I get moving at least once a week, and don’t mind a little sweat.”
“I get moving a few times per week and enjoy some exertion.”
“I want to feel invigorated each day and going hard is how I like to do that.”

Day by Day
After a scenic flight landing on Fogo Island this afternoon, we'll hit the trails with a loop walk along the Lion’s Den trail offering spectacular views. Dine at the Inn this evening in what was recently named among the top three “Best New Restaurants in Canada” by enRoute magazine.
Take an early morning forage for the abundant wild food that grows on the island before boarding the MV Ketanja for a tour of some of the outlying islands and abandoned settlements around Fogo Island. Try your hand at jigging for cod and visit Little Fogo, once a thriving outport.
After an energizing morning hike, we'll take part in a rowing lesson in a very traditional wooden punt boat. Spend the afternoon either relaxing in the hot tub at the Inn or taking a short walk out to visit the Great Auk—a somewhat haunting memorial to the extinct sea bird that once inhabited the island.
We’ll have breakfast together this morning before making our way to the ferry and saying our goodbyes at Gander International Airport. Safe travels!

Our trip was the experience of a lifetime, the direction/materials/equipment were all beyond perfect, the B&R people we dealt with always going above and beyond, and the places we stayed were highlights at the end of beautiful days.— Genevieve Brown
The locals on the islands were like out of a movie, just great. Puffins, icebergs and finally, the Fogo Island Inn and our host Zita were both just incredible!— Chick Miller
We never wanted to be the biggest travel company in the world, just the best.
