We use premium hotels that are unique expressions of the region. Often they’ve had a previous life as a monastery or a castle, but in every case they offer an exceptionally comfortable stay.
These are stylish 4-star properties that offer a casual and comfortable stay. Often without a 24-hour concierge or room service, they tend to be smaller family-run hotels that are perfect for the region.
“I can’t say I really ‘work out,’ but I’m in good shape and am relatively active.”
“I enjoy a good walk or ride, and feel comfortable while on the move.”
“I get moving at least once a week, and don’t mind a little sweat.”
“I get moving a few times per week and enjoy some exertion.”
“I want to feel invigorated each day and going hard is how I like to do that.”
A Turquoise Island Adventure
We have had more than a passing eye on Bermuda for many years now, and what better time to visit than during the America’s Cup? The history of Bermuda is intrinsically linked with seafaring, and so it seems only fitting for it to host the 35th Auld Mug. Both George and Martha Butterfield will be joining us for an exciting week of racing. You’ll also have the opportunity to spend time with Tom Butterfield, art collector and historian, and Jim Butterfield, rower, sailor, Olympian and one of the event sponsors. Prepare for a week of cruising, cheering, exploring, and relaxing alongside your gracious hosts, as the world’s best sailors compete for yachting’s biggest prize.

Day by Day
Upon arrival today, we'll discover the Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute for an interactive introduction to the America’s Cup. This evening, head over to the Harbourfront Restaurant and raise a glass to the week of racing ahead.
This morning, we'll board our 61-foot, privately chartered boat and our skipper, Chris, will secure a prime location for race viewing. Relax on board, or explore a nearby island while we wait for the day's events to begin. This evening, we'll head back to the mainland for dinner at the Waterlot Inn.
Spend the day admiring the state of the art boats from the front lines. Then, having potentially witnessed the settling of the 35th America’s Cup (the event is a “best of 13"), we'll head home for some dinner on dry land!
Change tack this morning with a visit to the Masterworks Museum of Bermuda Art, providing a fascinating look at life in Bermuda. If the racing is still on this afternoon, we'll head over to the race village at the Royal Navy Dockyard to cheer the competitors on and soak in the electric atmosphere.
Today, after an exciting day of either race viewing or island exploring (depending on weather conditions), we will retire for a truly special final night’s dinner at George Butterfield’s house.
We'll say our goodbyes over breakfast before heading to the airport for your return home.
