Make a splash! Travelling en familie can be one of the most rewarding experiences of your (and your kids’) life, but it can also be a major drag if not everyone is having fun. As enriching as a visit to Paris’ Musée d’Orsay is for you, it’s a three-hour snore-a-thon to your average eight-year-old. Think back to the trips you took with your parents. What was more fun: playing soccer in the park near the motel or listening to the tour guide drone on about the Battle of Tippecanoe? We thought so!
