Sunrise in Hoi An, sunset in the Forbidden City. In between, a truly marvelous stroll through one of the most beautiful, flavourful and embraceable places anywhere. Quiet tree-lined country paths lead us to incredible beaches, banana plantations, thriving local markets and the occasional imperial tomb. Mealtimes present us with beef in lalot leaves, pho galore and a private cooking class. Bedtime comes swiftly after a dip in the pool or a relaxing treatment at a world-class spa. (In fact, we’re more than a little embarrassed to admit that we love the accommodations almost as much as everything). Does Vietnam spoil us? Yes. Yes it does.

Day 1 Explore Hué, the Imperial Forbidden City (don’t worry, we’ve got connections)

You’ll come to appreciate this after learning that the only thing the Vietnamese love more than waking up early is honking the horns on their mopeds! 		Life Heritage Resort, Hoi An Life Heritage Resort is set in a tropical garden on a tranquil river, a few steps away from a charming ancient town. 		Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi, Hanoi A gorgeous French colonial-style hotel located in the heart of Hanoi, the Metropole is a hotel with a history. Built in 1901, it has welcomed politicians, business leaders, artists... and now us.
