The Unspoiled Coast
Children love Puglia, and the feeling is mutual. Where else will you get the chance to excavate Roman ruins, take a speedboat to a private beach paradise and explore Grotta Castellana, the largest cave in Europe? But as perfect as it is for the younger crowd, Puglia is just as big a hit with the moms and dads. Lots (and lots) of incredible food, surprising wines and a bottomless supply of memorable moments against a backdrop of azure seas and shimmering green groves; with its whitewashed villages, rocky shores and stellar riding, you’d swear you were in Greece. Four words: Best. Family. Vacation. Ever.
Here's a sample of what you can expect on your custom-designed Bespoke Puglia With the Kids adventure. Intrigued? Contact a Bespoke Trip Designer for further details.

Masseria Torre Coccaro, Savelletri di Fasano
This lovely hotel was created around a 14thC seaside watchtower. Once used by Maltese Knights on guard against the Turks, the tower is now the hotel’s peaceful lookout from which to watch delighted guests lolling around the 15-hectare grounds, lounging by the huge saltwater swimming pool, strolling around their private olive groves and gardens, or heading off to the Aveda spa.

This trip is rated Easygoing to Moderate. The biking is on predominately flat interior roads winding through olive groves, though there is a climb or two later in the trip. Total daily distances range from 32 to 66 km (20 to 41 mi.), though the kids may ride less to take advantage of alternative afternoon activities. Extra van support provides flexibility for shortening daily rides.
