Even Better in Person
Huge, yet compact. Imposing, yet friendly. Wide open, yet intimate. The dichotomies of New Zealand take some time to process (usually an hour; after that, you stop trying). Beauty is served raw down here. You see it carved in the face of mighty Mount Cook and the coastlines of the remarkable Tasman Sea, shimmering in the turquoise waters of Lake Tekapo, in the leafy shade of the prehistoric rain forests and spread throughout the quaint towns and sheep-sprinkled farmlands that line the South Island’s bike routes. It’s just as impressive indoors, too: luscious salmon, distinctive Sauvignon Blanc and stunning views from Whare Kea, our exclusive lodge. Splendid, yet splendiferous.

Roxanne Hampton
New Zealand Biking 2010
"We did the amazing New Zealand Biking trip. I cannot tell you how much fun we had. Every person that travels should do a B&R trip. Also, Rob (guide) and Garry (driver) treated us like family. We can not say enough great things about this trip."
Brian Kabateck
New Zealand Biking 2010
"We took this trip on a recommendation and have never been on a biking vacation before. We found the guide Rob, and the driver Gary, very kind, happy and helpful. They made the trip for us more pleasant. The trip was beyond our expectation and we hope that the next one, as there most certainly will be a 'next one', is just as good. The hotel on the second to last stop was wonderful. Rob was a great guy and a real asset to B&R.

New Zealand Biking 2010
"The trip was wonderful, incredible, just perfect! Rob, our guide was super—he's a great guy, who catered to our every need, desire and then some! Each of the hotels we stayed at had their own charm and personality. The true icing on the cake as far as hotels go, was staying at the Whare Kea! Oh my gosh, not only was the setting just incredibly spectacular, but the service was impeccable! Then let's talk about the incredible chef. The food was sensational. Staying there certainly was a true pampering experience. The extra treats that Rob planned for us were just so special. Our small plane ride up above Mt. Cook was breathtaking! Our jet boat ride and walk and talk in the forest was great fun! The wine tasting at a New Zealand winery paired with great local delicacies was great fun and informative. Let's not forget the sunset helicopter tour of Queenstown along with a touch down and view from the remarkables, then a tram ride down to the town before a magnificent dinner.
