Green is Good
Mother Nature doesn’t have a permanent address, but her finest summer home is here—and thankfully, she welcomes visitors. Our stays in this neck of the lush, enveloping woods are in properties that live in harmony with the environment, from the menu down to the décor. There aren’t many people, but your kids won’t be starved for playmates; after riding the Galloping Goose Regional Trail, we’ll hit the surf in search of dolphins, sea lions and orcas. Seaplanes, ferries and private boats knit it all together. Eco-friendliness has never been friendlier.
Here’s a sample of what you can expect on your custom-designed Bespoke BC Islands With the Kids adventure. Intrigued? Contact a Bespoke Trip Planner for further details.
Day 1 Get a bird’s-eye view of the Gulf Islands from a seaplane, then get an expert’s-eye view of the local flora and fauna with a naturalist
Day 2 Bike and ride through rain forests before dinner at a private wine estate tucked away in the hills
Day 3 Take a moment (or a hundred) to marvel at the majestic harbour view from your room at Sooke Harbour House
Day 4 Go salmon fishing in the morning, then eat what you caught at dinner (with the cleaning and cooking parts handled by pros)
Day 5 Bike the Galloping Goose Regional Trail out to Sooke Potholes Provincial Park, one of Canada’s—if not the world’s—greatest rides
Day 6 Breakfast and farewells in Victoria
