Changing our planet, up close
Places on the Verge trips are a new venture for us at Butterfield & Robinson, designed to bring interested travellers to regions of the world under environmental strain. These trips offer a rare inside view of rapidly changing places, be they the Amazon rainforest or Athabasca Oil Sands. We get you in deep and up close, examining the challenges facing our planet, their roots and their myriad complexities. We engage an array of experts—scientists, business leaders, environmentalists—and we confront the issues head-on. Gain a new perspective on the world. It just might make a difference.
We're currently in the process of planning a Places on the Verge trip to Rwanda in 2011—check back soon for details.
