B&R Launches New Series of Trips

Toronto, Canada, January 09, 2012 – Toronto, ON—January 10, 2012—Bistro, by Butterfield & Robinson introduces a new chapter in the evolution of active travel. Since 1966 Butterfield & Robinson has been on the cutting edge of innovation. Bistro trips have been designed to reflect current tastes for simple luxury and local authenticity at a lower price. Like a Michelin-star restaurant opening a more casual bistro next door, Butterfield & Robinson has added Bistro to its portfolio. These trips share the same creative recipe that goes into all B&R trips, but the ingredients are a little more modest, the experience a little more laid back (and the trips are priced accordingly; Bistro departures cost approximately $200 a day less than B&R’s signature trips in the same region).

"Tour" in France and Iceland Places on the Verge

Toronto, Canada, December 03, 2009 – Only moments after the official route of the 2010 Tour was released, B&R's team was hard at work creating two memorable trips for the avid cyclist and Tour aficionado.
George Butterfield is the driving force behind our annual Places on the Verge (POV) trips. In 2008 he led a trip along with renowned photographer Edward Burtynsky to the Alberta Tar Sands. In 2009, with Celine Cousteau, B&R travelled along the Amazon in Peru. In 2010 we return to an area we know well to explore the effects of climate change.
