2010 B&R Traveller Photo Contest

- Each traveller may submit a maximum of 5 photos per trip & may submit photos from more than one trip.
- Only digital photos will be accepted. Each digital entry must be saved as a normal quality JPEG with a file size no smaller than 1 MB and no larger than 5 MB. Computer-altered photographs are not eligible and will not be accepted for consideration.
- Each photo must be accompanied with the following information for each image: the trip on which it was taken, the approximate date the image was taken and the category for which it is being submitted. We also encourage you to submit a short paragraph (3-4 sentences) that describes the moment that the photo was taken, or your memory of the trip.
- Only images taken on Butterfield & Robinson trips taken after December 31, 2004 are eligible for entry. Each image must be entered in one of three image categories: Places, Faces and Moments.
- Submissions for the 2010 Contest commence January 4, 2010 and end on November 8, 2010. Winners will be notified by December 31, 2010.
- Trip credits are applicable to any B&R Trip, and are valid for two years from the date of issue and are not transferrable.
- For each image used by B&R (other than for promoting the 2010 Contest or any other photo contest on our website and by email), a one-time $250 trip credit (non-transferrable, valid for two years from date of issuance), will be awarded.

This photograph, titled "Staircase" was taken in 2001 by Jeffery Lin on his
Prague to Vienna Biking trip. According to Jeffery, it was taken on day 4 of this trip (his favourite day apparently!):
“We rode from Dürnstein to Melk on this day. This is a picture of one of the stairways in the amazing Melk monastery. I had to wait a while to take this picture, as people kept sticking their heads out.”

To submit your photos, (and put yourself in the running for our great prizes!), simply attach them to an email and send them to:

In the body of the email, please include your full name, the name and date of the B&R trip on which the photo was taken, the category for which it is being submitted (all submissions will automatically be considered for our
Grand Prize of US $3,000 trip credit), as well as a short caption for each photo.
